12/17-We're back! Thank you sooo much to everyone who was able to make it down to San Juan a couple of weeks ago. You were all a part of the best weekend in our lives. We've posted some pictures from the wedding week and our honeymoon. For those of you who took digital pictures.... we'd really appreciate it if you could email us any pictures you took. Please send here.
11/14-We're only a few weeks away! Those of you that are coming should have pretty much everything squared away. If you booked your plane tickets a long time ago, we highly recommend you confirm that your flight times have not changed. American Airlines (and presumably others) have changed some flights by as many as three hours! So make sure you check that out.
Since our last update the Schwartz clan has added yet another boy to it's growing male family. That makes six straight! Ari and Alli had Alex Foster on 10/24. He weighed in at an even 7 lbs. Here are a few pictures of the cute little guy.
10/23-Many have been asking what type of attire is "elegant casual." Remember that, weather permitting, the ceremony and reception will be held outside on the boardwalk between the hotel and the beach so maybe "elegant beachy" would be more appropriate. Most men are wearing nice slacks and a button-down shirt but no jacket or tie. As for women.... you're on your own. The average high in San Juan in December is 84 degrees and the average low is 74. Check out the forecast if you're interested. If you have any other questions please shoot Lee and Janelle an email. 10/4-The InterContinental has reopened. If you have any problems booking a room, please let us know. 9/20- All right. There's good news and there's bad news. The good news is that, if this is your first time visiting this website, you've just received an invitation to attend the event of the year. The bad news is.... the InterContinental in San Juan has been closed since Tropical Storm Jeanne passed over last week. That means you can't currently book rooms. But... don't worry... we'll update this site as soon as they're back and taking reservations. 5/25- If you're here.... chances are you've received the "Save the Date" in the mail recently. We highly recommend that you book your flights and hotel as soon as you know whether or not you're going to come because flights are already booking up and hotel space is limited. Make sure you check out all the details. 4/11- The administrators of the site apologize for any recent errors with the guestbook. The guestbook is now up and running.
Lee & Janelle will be sending out the "Save the Dates" within the next few weeks or so. According to CNN reports, advance copies of the stylish postcards are already being offered on eBay for hundreds of dollars. Some collectors are calling them "the next bobblehead dolls." Keep an eye on your mailbox.
2/24- Lee & Janelle have returned from their arduous journey to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although they were eager to escape the brutal Caribbean weather and return to their fulfilling jobs in the middle of Chicago's pleasant winter, they are excited to report that they have confirmed a date and location!!! The wedding will be held at the Intercontinental Resort & Casino San Juan in Isla Verde on Saturday, December 4th, 2004.
